ABF is excited to launch International Community Fridays (ICF)!
ICF is a new open-field initiative where families can come together on a regular basis to enjoy sports, games, and time outdoors. The idea is simple: children and parents sharing the fields, playing together, and embracing a healthy, active lifestyle.
At its heart, ICF is about community. ICF aims to bring together the international community in Wassenaar and nearby towns— offering a welcoming space for families who are new and looking to integrate, as well as for those who have been here longer and are happy to share their experience. And of course, no community gathering is complete without some good food and drinks to enjoy together after the games.
ICF is also about family — creating moments where parents and children can connect, have fun, and strengthen their bonds through play.
We are fortunate to have a very strong collaboration with the American School of The Hague.
Families from other international schools are warmly welcome, helping us build a diverse and vibrant community. Dutch families who are interested in connecting with international families and giving their children the opportunity to engage in a multicultural and multilingual environment, are willingly welcome.
We truly hope this initiative will bring many of us together.
