PARKING REMINDER:

If you park in the ABF parking lot, PLEASE PARK IN THE APPROPRIATE PARKING SPOTS. The curb areas as you enter the parking lot are not legitimate parking spots. Parking in these spots makes it difficult for other cars to enter/exit the facility and creates a dangerous situation for people walking to and from their cars. The curb area will be painted off this week, so you will know exactly where you are NOT supposed to park.

 

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION:

Please park in the ASH parking lot and use the tunnel to access the ABF fields. DO NOT park on Ammonslaantje. Police will ticket your car.

 

Weather Policy: 

If the weather creates unsafe conditions for our athletes or conditions that could harm our fields, we will cancel play. You can check the website for cancellations. If thunder or lightning occurs in the area, players should leave the fields. In general, normal rain is not reason to cancel games.

 Please park in the ASH parking lot for all sports activities.

1. Deadline for informing your Team Manager on availability: MONDAY at 17:00 before match

2. Deadline for informing the KNVB Coordinator (Abraham) on cancellation: TUESDAY at 10:00 before match

3. Deadline for requesting cancellation of match from the KNVB: TUESDAY at 12:00 before match

4. Players should be at the field 30 minutes before kick-off.

Players should wear shin guards, soccer boots and the ABF uniform.

Team managers should do the warm-up of the team and discuss positions.

Players should also bring a bottle of water. Drinking water minimizes the chances of a cramp.

5. Parents and Players should always check the website of the Host Team (there may be cancellations)

and the website www.voetbal.nl

Prepare the materials needed per match (to be found in the ABF Office or in the Clubhouse storage Area)

  • Make sure the locker room for the visitors is unlocked and direct the visitor’s team to that locker room.
  •  
  • Put the goalposts in place (you might need some string to repair faults in the nets).
  •  
  • Get Four corner flags, Two Linesmen flags and One whistle.
  •  
  • Get 3-4 well inflated balls per match (Derbystar RED for F and E / Derbystar BLUE for D and C).

(if the balls are kicked outside the perimeter or in the canal,

have the game continued with another ball,

however, please send someone to fetch the ball from the canal immediately.

The balls cost 35 to 40 euros each).

  • During half time offer the drinks to both teams. Prepare these drinks 10 minutes before half time!
  •  
  • Match form to be completed and signed by home team AND visitor team Managers.
  •  
  • AT THE END OF THE GAME, PLEASE, PUT EVERYTHING BACK AT THE ABF OFFICE or in the Clubhouse storage Area.
  •  
  • Locker keys and a needle for inflating the balls (if needed) to be found in the ABF Office in the cupboard.
